LML has been building clones of Piaggio's iconic Vespa in India – with the agreement of the Italian company - for many years. When Piaggio stopped manufacturing this model, LML continued making the scooters, under their own branding.

The model scooter that we will use for this trip is grandly named the LML “Star Deluxe”, - using a steel body and a few upgrades on the original Vespa’s - including electric start and Italian front disc brakes, etc. It's powered by an LML derivative of the original 150 motor - one of Piaggio's most successful units and renowned for durability.
